DCFS works with more than 50 community-based organizations to provide support services to families in need. Services offered through DCFS and our partners range from parenting education courses, housing assistance, medical screenings, tutoring, child care, and general family friendly activities.
Families often come in contact with DCFS because they need help. Parenting is tough, but it doesn’t have to be tough on children. The best way to prevent DCFS involvement or to shorten the time a case is open is to reach out for the assistance you need.
