Warren G. Harding (born , Corsica [now Blooming Grove], Ohio, U.S.—died , San Francisco, California) was the 29th president of the United States (1921–23).

President Harding enjoyed an early round of golf at the Chevy Chase Club and relaxed in the afternoon with Mrs. Harding. The president distributed a $5 gold piece to members of his staff and sent seasonal greetings to America's war veterans wishing them "a restored fortune, health and prosperity."

Warren G. Harding, an Ohio Republican, was the 29th President of the United States (1921-1923). Though his term in office was fraught with scandal, including Teapot Dome, Harding embraced technology and was sensitive to the plights of minorities and women.

Warren Harding entered politics in 1899, winning a seat as State Senator in the Ohio Legislature, where he would serve two terms. As an ardent Republican, Harding began to advance in Ohio politics, and in 1903 became Lieutenant Governor.
