Our Empty Pill Bottle Collection Program is designed to collect used pill bottles, which will be repurposed by Osceola County Animal Services to dispense pet medication.

From choir to cheerleading, robotics clubs to student government, drama to drawing, strings to soccer, and everything in between, there’s truly something for everyone in the Osceola School District.

Osceola was an American Indian leader during the Second Seminole War, which began in 1835 when the U.S. government attempted to force the Seminole off their traditional lands in Florida and into the Indian territory west of the Mississippi River.

During the 1830s, Osceola, a Seminole warrior, led members of his tribe in Florida in a valiant attempt to resist the US Army’s efforts to forcibly deport them to a reservation west of the Mississippi River.

The story told - the picture tells about Osceola (the leader himself is a real historical figure), played by Goiko Mitic, who strives to live in peace with the pale-faced, but the insidious neighbor - the southern planter, intends to take away their native land from the Seminole for his own benefit.

Last night at the Board of County Commissioners meeting, Chairman Brandon Arrington, Osceola Commissioner District 3 recapped several agenda items including roadway improvements, rezoning, and continued discussions surrounding future industrial and commercial opportunities in Osceola County.
