The logo featured a prow view of the ship Mayflower which landed at Plymouth Rock in Plymouth, Massachusetts. However, the inspiration for the Plymouth brand name came from Plymouth binder twine, produced by the Plymouth Cordage Company, also of Plymouth.

The town and county of Plymouth boasts some of the best whale watching, dining, shopping, and cultural activities in a quaint New England setting, much of it nestled along the seashore.

It's a bit of a schlep to get here, but is worth a visit to get a sense of the history of Plymouth, and the views are gorgeous. I think this place is overlooked in favor of other tourist attractions, as I didn't see anyone else here.
