Known as the "City of Presidents", [3] Quincy is the birthplace of two U.S. presidents — John Adams and his son John Quincy Adams —as well as John Hancock, the first signer of the Declaration of Independence and the first and third governor of Massachusetts.

I look forward to serving the citizens of the City of Quincy, and reclaiming and rebuilding our finances, infrastructure, public safety, and services for/to our citizens. I see a brighter future rising in the City of Quincy and believe the City’s best days are ahead.

The City of Quincy has released the proposed 2027 City Budget. A Community Input Report on the Future of the Eastern Nazarene College Campus has been released. Mayor Thomas Koch invites the community to celebrate an afternoon of live music on Saturday, May 16th.
