Carroll Hall Shelby ( – ) was an American automotive designer, racing driver, and entrepreneur. Shelby was involved with the AC Cobra and Mustang for the Ford Motor Company. With driver Ken Miles, he developed the Ford GT40, the car that won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1966, 1967, 1968, and 1969.

Shelby American has unveiled its latest take on the GT350. The limited edition build celebrates the 60th anniversary of the original 1965 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 created by Carroll Shelby to give the new pony car a performance edge. Shelby will build just 562 new GT350s to match the number of originals that were produced.
