Travel direct between Tate Britain at Millbank Pier and Tate Modern at Bankside Pier with the Tate to Tate – RB2 service. A drop off / pick up point is situated on Holland Street, just outside the main entrance. There are no parking facilities at Tate Modern or in the surrounding streets.

Established in 1903, Tate has been growing from strength to strength ever since, acquiring multiple sites around the globe. Tate has now got offices and manufacturing facilities on four continents, including Europe, North America, Australia and Asia, and employs over 1,400 people worldwide.
It is often referred to as the Tate Museum. The name "Tate" is used also as the operating name for the corporate body, which was established by the Museums and Galleries Act 1992 as "The Board of Trustees of the Tate Gallery". The gallery was founded in 1897 as the National Gallery of British Art.
