The Virginia Department of State Police operates the clearinghouse as the Commonwealth’s center for missing persons. The clearinghouse is linked to all Virginia law enforcement agencies through the Virginia Criminal Information Network (VCIN), the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and all U.S. police agencies through the National Crime Information Center (NCIC).

Virginia has a very small public missing person database with old cases, unsure if it’s kept updated, nor do they have any legal requirement to report missing to NamUs.
