The meaning of EVERYONE is every person : everybody. How to use everyone in a sentence.

You use everyone to refer to all the people in a particular group. Everyone in the street was shocked when they heard the news. When everyone else goes home around 5 p.m. Lynn is still hard at work. Not everyone thinks that the government is being particularly generous.

“Everyone” is always singular because it’s a collective noun that refers to one single group of multiple people. Therefore, there is no plural possessive form to mention, so we cannot use any other form.

It's easy to swap "everyone" with "anyone," or "someone" with "no one," especially in negative or interrogative sentences. Each word has a specific function—some refer to all people, others to just one or none.
